Welcome to the Selwyn Lions Club! We are a passionate, hands-on group of local volunteers proud to represent Lions Clubs International—the world’s largest service club organisation—right here in our home district. United under the global Lions motto, "We Serve," our mission is to step up and meet the needs of our local community whenever and wherever we can.

From supporting local youth and seniors to helping families going through tough times, we are all about making Lincoln and the wider Selwyn area a kinder, stronger place to live.

How We Serve Selwyn

• Fundraising for Local Causes: You will regularly see us out and about hosting charity sausage sizzles, community BBQs, and local events. Every single dollar we raise goes straight back into helping local schools, community groups, and families in need.
• Hands-on Community Projects: We don't just raise money; we get stuck in. Our members help maintain local public spaces, assist with environmental clean-ups, and support community initiatives across the district.
• Fostering Fellowship: While we work hard, we also value friendship. Being a Lion means joining a warm network of like-minded locals who enjoy socializing, networking, and having fun while making a difference.
