A Family Story Rooted in the Soil
The Gill brothers, Gurwinder and Amrinder, started four years ago with two hectares of leased land, growing produce for markets and hospitality in Christchurch.
As demand grew, they went from a small honesty box to a shed on 1210 Shands Road. Now, the farm has expanded to 25 hectares and a bustling, colourful shop full of fresh produce.
Gurwinder came to New Zealand in 2010. He studied here and then worked for another local grower for 10 years, learning the trade and dreaming of building a family business. Today, he and Amrinder run it with their partners, children, and a small team. It’s a family story that keeps growing.
A website is coming soon, with online shopping and home-delivered fruit and vege boxes on the way.
